Dr. Marc Mauduit is a CNRS-Research Director and works within the laboratories of the ENSCR (Rennes’ National School of Chemistry). His research topics are organometallic chemistry and synthesis methodology. He has notably been successfully developing ruthenium-complexes for olefin metathesis since 2001. This research resulted in various publications (47) and patents (8). Marc Mauduit has been a scientific advisor for Oméga Cat System since the beginning of the project.
Dr. Frédéric CAIJO has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the ENSCR. He worked for 5 years on chemical synthesis projects for the pharmaceutical industry. He joined Marc Mauduit’s research team in January 2007 and worked with them on olefin metathesis, helping to develop and valorise new patents. He then became in charge of the Oméga Cat System business unit, whose purpose was to make a commercial use of those patents and of the acquired know-how. He logically became CEO of Oméga Cat System as the company was officially founded in August 2010.
